Hello Kitty and Teddybear 2nd Birthday/キティちゃんとクマさんで２歳のお誕生日☆

先週、娘の2歳のお誕生日を迎えました☆

去年は一回目のお誕生日と言うことで

友人と合同パーティーをしましたが、

今年はちょっと手抜きで、家族のみの、小さくてcozyなお祝いに。

 

 

my little daughter turned 2 year old.

We celebrated her first birthday pretty big with friends last year

but this year we are lazy decided to keep it simple and cozy , just with family.

 

 

本人に、何のケーキがいい？

と聞くと、［クマさん］とのこと。

うんうん、そうだよね、クマ大好きで、

パジャマにもわざわざクマを描いたのでなければ着てくれなかったりするものね（笑）

 

 

I asked her what kind of birthday cake she would like to have.

" A teddy bear cake! " said my Angel.

I knew it since she has been so into teddy bears that she would only wear her pajamas with bears..

 

 

で、こんなの作ってみましたよ。

 

 Voilà!

....って、これは原型!

 

Well, this is before the decoration.

 

 

 

 

ハイ、ちゃんとクマになりました☆

 

Now we are talking! Teddy bear cake!

そしてクマケーキは

晩の家族のお祝いのためにとっておき、

もう一つ内緒で作ったのが、こちら。

 

Putting the teddy aside for the evening,

I secretly made one more cake for her.

最近お気に入りのハローキティのケーキです♡

The Hello Kitty Cake! which she lately started to love.

下はいちごヨーグルトのスポンジケーキ、

その上に、

ピンク色になるようにいちごのムースを重ねて

キティちゃんのチョコレートを載せました。

チョコは、友人のお菓子Y 師匠に手ほどき頂きながら

事前に作っておいたものです。

 

Strawberry yogurt baked cake beneath and strawberry pink mousse layer on the top of it,

 then put the hello kitty chocolate which a friend of mine taught me how to make,

on the very top on it.

 

 

 

さてさて当日、

まずは午前中のナーサリープレイグループにて

嬉しいお祝いをして頂きました。

 

In the morning at the nursery play group,

I brought the hello kitty cake with us. 

 

 

 

ハローキティのケーキを見るやいなや

待ってましたのハッピー笑顔！

もう、親ばか母は、この笑顔のためになんでもしちゃいます♡

 

Yes!! This is what I expected ! This happy face!

I would die for your fantastic happy face!

皆さんにお祝いの歌も歌っていただき、

あ～、幸せだね、L。

 

We all sang happy birthday song for her...

what a lucky girl you are!

そして晩のお祝いの時間。

下のプレイグラウンドに遊びに行ってもらっている間に

こっそりとテーブルを用意。

 

Then came the evening celebration time.

I sent my helper to play with her down at the play ground

so that I could prepare the table before she sees it.

しかし思った通りでした！

いたずらっ子がやってきた!!

このクマは、なんとしても守らなければなりませぬ～。

 

But!! I knew it!

Here came the naughty boy!

I really have to save this teddy from hm! LOL

と言うことで、クマはテーブルから去ってもらって

お皿だけの状態で本人を席に誘い…、

 

Putting the teddy back in the kitchen again,

we invited the birthday girl at the table.

じゃーん！ とクマを登場させました★☆

 

Then, Ta-da!! Teddy bear cake!

やった♡

また驚き&嬉しそうな顔!!

↑完全なる親ばか。。。

 

YES, YES, YES!

 I LOVE to see her being surprised and happy!

満足そうにクマを眺める娘。

She looks very fulfilled.

そして、両手に持ったハートのろうそくに火を灯し、

（はい、クマの手だったのです。横の小さいものは。）

 

lit the candles in the bear's little hands.

Yeah, these little round...actually flower shaped things beside bear's face are...Hands!

ふ～っ。。。ふ～っ。。。ふ～っ。。。。

Blow, blow, blow out......

やったぁ☆　ようやく吹き消すことができました！

You made it!

「パパ、私、クマさんのお鼻から食べたいの」

" Daddy, I want to start with her nose, please. "

わ～い、いただきます！

Woo hoo! Thank you for the cake!

　

それからいくつものプレゼントを

開けて遊んで開けて遊んで・・・

なんて幸せな時♡

 

Opening the gifts, play with them, and open the next one again to play..

what a fabulous time we all had...

　

何度も自分でハッピーバースデーの歌を繰り返していました。

 

she repeated her own happy birthday song again and again.

ドイツで生まれ、

まだ４か月の時に大きな引越しをともに経験して

シンガポールに来た娘、

２歳になった今、

彼女は既にトライリンガルの道を進んでいます。

 

Born in Germany, had a big move to Singapore with 4 months old,

now this 2 years old girl already understands 3 different languages. 

 

 

私とは徹底して日本語、

パパとはドイツ語、

兄君とは基本日本語、たまにドイツ語と英語、

そしてお手伝いさんとは英語で会話をしています。

（会話といっても、まだ３つの単語を並べた文が言える程度ですが）

I consequently talk to her in Japanese,

dad in German.

She talks with her brother mainly in Japanese but occasionally

switch to either English or German,

To our live-in helper, only in English.

 

 

シンガポールの賜物とも言えるマルチリンガル環境。

ここは、一か所内で、数か国語が当たり前のように飛び交う社会。

このような環境で育てられることに感謝、

それを楽しんでくれている子供たちに感謝！

This is the gift we have in Singapore

 to raise our children in multicultual and multilingual environment.

 

I am very thankful for having an opportunity to raise them here now.

And very thankful that our children are adjusting well and enjoying this environment.

 

 

 

言葉の発達のほか、

２歳時点の彼女を例えるならば

木々を飛び移る子ザル、

もしくは更にワイルドな、女ターザンのミニチュア版。

 

Other than her linguistic development,

this 2 years old girl is like.....

 

a monkey swinging from one tree to another,

or put it even wilder way.....the mini lady tarzan !

 

 

「超」がつくほど活発で

手に負えないことさえある娘ですが、

何よりも元気が一番。

いたずら笑顔も全部オッケー☆

Yes, she is " super " active and I have to admit that I sometimes feel so exhausted,

but most of all, her just being well makes me just happy. 

Being rascal is all great as well!

 

全部まるごと愛してる。

この先幾つになっても

そのまままるごと

無条件に愛してゆきたい。

I love you so much just as who you are,

will love you ever and forever,

and will always embrace you with unconditional love....

 

 

 

本当に本当に、あなたを育てさせてくれてありがとう。

あなたのママでいさせてくれてありがとう。

 

Thank you so very much for letting me raise you.

Thank you so very much for letting me be your mum.

 

 

 

やっぱり出てくる気持ちは、感謝しかない。

心から、心の底から

感謝しています♡♡♡

２歳のお誕生日、おめでとう！

Happy Birthday to you !!

travel busy tray bag / 旅行で子供を退屈させない為のバッグ

After having goggled a lot on

 '' the busy bag for travel'',

 " how to keep children busy and happy on a trip  '' 

I've decided to order '' the travel tray kit '' and give it a try. 

One for my 6 and half years old son and one for 22months old daughter. 

Here they are ,I know l know, it's a bit too big for the little baby girl

 but  l think l'm happy with the design first . 

旅行中、

如何に子供達を退屈させずにハッピーにさせていられるか

沢山ググって良い物を発見しました｡

6歳半の息子と、1歳10ヶ月の娘に一つずつ｡

娘にはまだ大きいのは承知でね｡

でも、デザイン的にも可愛いし☆

Above all, what great about this is ...

何より良いなと思ったのは．．．

 you can pull down the tray part to have enough space to play

 and you can also hang the bag 

at the back seat in the car or even in tbe airplane. 

トレイ部を引き出せるので、

遊ぶスペースがたっぷりある事、

そして、車の後ろ座席や飛行機のシートにぶら下げられる事も魅力。

Now her bag is all set. 

さて、娘の玩具を詰めてみました。

And his as well. 

そしてこちらは息子用。

For her,

 l also prepared DIY magnetic play board 

 drawing her favorite bear

 and printing out her favorite japanese educational characters called

 '' shimajiro''. 

娘には、

しまじろうを印刷したり、

お気に入りのクマを描いたりしてマグネットボードを用意。

Another thing which l bet she'd love and keeps herself busy with is this. 

Yes, a small pill box. 

 

もう一つ、

娘がきっと一人遊びをしてくれるかなと思って

用意してみたモノは、こちら。

はい、小さなお薬ケースです。

I put some animal stickers on one side. 

片面を開けると、動物のシール。

And on the other side as well.

反対側も同じく。

Besides,  these small parts down there are actually awesome.

 Each part will keep her busy opening and shutting,

 finding tiny different drawings. 

更に、この幾つもの小さな部分の蓋を開け閉めすると、

これまた色々な絵が出てくるようになっています。

Then, if  she takes out those tiny drawings, 

her another favorite characters will be shown up. 

She also likes counting numbers,

so l just put them  randomly from one to three. 

 

 

そして上記の絵を取り出すと、

下にはこれまた彼女の大好きな

しまじろうの妹、

はなちゃんが現れるようにしてみました!

数を数えるのが好きなので、

ランダムに一人、二人、三人のはなちゃん。

Bottom line is....

 l'm just hoping that my kids will be happy on our trip

 as we are flying from Singapore back to Germany

 and driving from Germany to France to vist Loire staying at the old castels,

 after visiting Paris antique markets. 

 

It's gonna be fun for us

 but long flight and drive are not quite children's favorite, right? 

Let's see how those things work

and if you know any other good ideas to keep small children busy,

 let me know:-)

 

 

そう、要はただ、

旅の中で子供達にもできるだけ ハッピーでいて欲しいだけ。

あさってに、

シンガポールからドイツへの一時期国に出発します。

 

そしてその後パリの骨董市を訪ね、

それからロアールへ足をのばして古城巡り＆宿泊をして来ます。

 

※ロアールでは、

現ロンドン在住25年来の親友とも落ち合う予定でワクワク☆

 

 

 

けれども長いフライトと、車での数時間の移動は

子供にとっては特に楽しいものではないですものね。

 

苦肉の策な色々な工夫が

どれだけこうをなすのか、

 

それは蓋を開けてのお楽しみという事で。(*^_^*)

 

 

子供を退屈させないための、

こんなアイディアもあるよー

と、ご存じの方がいたら、

Japanese children's day / シンガポールで端午の節句

 

母から譲ってもらった

お屠蘇セット。

通常なら、

年に一度のお正月のみに

使用するものかもしれません。

けれども素敵なものは、

しまい込んでおくのは勿体無い！

そこで、端午の節句に

こんな風に飾ってみました☆

日本文化的には

タブーな使用法かもしれないけれど、

所詮日本国を離れて長くなる私、

しきたりに従うよりも

創造的に[ 和 ]を楽しむ事を選択しています☆

さて、お重箱の蓋を開けると。。。

一段目は、鯉のぼり稲荷寿司。

 

二段目に春巻き兜、

三段目がフェイントで

空っぽのままで(笑)、

四段目に、なんちゃって柏餅！

一応今回も粒餡から手作りしています。

 

兜は、

折り紙では何度も作ったことがあるけれど

春巻きで作るときは

卵白で接着しながら折ると楽にできました。

 

 

 

ドイツでは

四苦八苦

柏餅に挑戦してみたりして

なんとか日本のものを作っていたな~。

それに対し、

シンガポールでは

日本のものは何でも買えちゃう。

 

 

便利だけど、

ドイツの習慣に慣れているから

私は今だに手作り派かな。

 

市販品の方が美味しいのにね（爆)。

一方で、

息子の学校(幼稚園)の

ジャパニーズアッセンブリーでは

浴衣も着たし

息子の法被姿も見られたし、

 

シンガポールのインタースクールの多様性で

日本の行事をこうして満喫できるのは

 

やっぱり嬉しいと

感じた日でもありました☆

Pink and White themed B.D. Party / ピンクと白のお誕生日会

 

 

 

娘が一歳になりました！

 

女の子が出来たら絶対にしたかったパーティ、

ピンク、ピンク、ピンク（笑）！

 

念願かなっての１歳ピンクパーティを、

同じ頃のお誕生日の仲良しお友達と一緒に

数か月前から企画し始め、
待ちに待った当日～☆

How could she grown so fast!!

 

I have been dreaming about '' PINK'' party for Girls

and ther you go!

We had a Pink and White themed B.D.Party

for my daughter and a friend of her who turned one as well. 

 

 

 以前作ったイチゴのドームケーキ、

水切りヨーグルトと豆腐ホットケーキを中に詰める

ベビーバージョンにして、

主役の二人に一つずつ。

ママがそれぞれ愛情を込めて作りました♡

 

 

 

 

 

 

手前にある赤いものは、

イチゴのレアチーズケーキなのですが、

準備したクリームチーズの量が少なく

思っていたものと違うものに。。。。

 

味は悪くはなかったものの、

本当に作りたかったものへのリベンジも、

又の機会にしてみます！

 

 We made baby friendly strawberry cakes made of yorgurt and tofu for each princess,

and a big whipcream strawberry cake for the guest.

 

主役以外へのケーキは、

お馴染みイチゴのショートケーキを作りました～。

 

お馴染みと書いてはみたものの、

イチゴのショートケーキって

ドイツではあまり見かけなかった気がします。

 

日本のものが溢れているシンガポールに引っ越してきて、

ああ、懐かしい～という感じ。

 

やっぱり美味しいし、子供は皆大好きなので

主役のいちごケーキの間に挟んで

ドンっと構えさせてみました。

お寿司は事前注文して、Ｍちゃんが当日に受け取りに行ってくれ、

さらにサンドイッチもＭちゃん作！

どうもありがとう～☆

 

ケーキカットしている手は、ピンクのシャツの主人のもの。

そう、デコレーションだけでなく、

ドレスコードまでピンクか白にしちゃっていますよ。

もう、やるときゃやる。ね。

 

そういうの、

Wenn schon, denn schon　ってドイツ語で言ったりします。

関係ないけど。

 

 

We didn't just decorate pink and white but set the dress code '' pink and White '' as well.

Let's go whole hog!

They call it '' Wenn schon, denn schon'' in German, FIY :-)

 

 

 

クラッカー（って言うんだっけ？ポンって音のなる筒ね。）の蓋を

目を離した隙に既に開けてしまっていたうちのいたずら息子。

 

かろうじて音が鳴ったようなならなかったような・・・・。

ヒラヒラ紙は、舞ってきました。

 

 

My son was in charge of the Party Crackers

but he opened the top of them before pulling them out!

Still, it worked somehow and papaer came out :-)

 

 

１０か月からトコトコと歩き出してしまった娘、

パーティの間もウロチョロしていて

やっとの事で座らせた、バースデーガール写真。

 

She started to walk when she was 10months old

and now she literally wanders here and there all day.

Finally we made it have this birthday girl sit down on the arm chair for the pic!  

 

 

 

 

それにしてもこのアングル、

ドレスからにょきっと

巨大な足が一本生えてきてるように見える。。。 

 

 

 

 

 

パーティは、ゲストの子供たちも楽しく遊んでくれて、

大人さん子供さん、皆さんラブリーデーのご協力に感謝です！

クレープペーパーを重ねて山折り谷折り、

結んで両端をチョキンととがらせ、

一枚一枚開いてゆくと、

お花のように出来上がり。

 

 

色違い、大きさ違いで作るといい感じ。

って、大きさは、適当な性格の私の手によっては

単に統一されなかっただけという話。

パーティは当日ではなくその週の週末でした。

 

当日は、メイドさんの作ってくれた

スイカのケーキに飛びつく娘。

The party was held on the weekend

but her actual B.D. was two days before.

Our lovely helper made this water melon cake for her

and children loved it!

 

準備中のポンポンで遊ぼうとしたり、

しまいにはテーブルの上で遊びだす二人。

こらっ。テーブルから、今すぐ降りてください。 

 

Here again, they are frolicking even on the table!

Get down pleeease!

 

 

 

 

そんなこんなな一歳ホヤホヤの娘。

一年前に、羊膜に包まれたままツルッと出てきてくれた娘。

 

産まれてきてくれて、心からありがとう。

あなたでいてくれて、本当にありがとう。

 

そして、いつも見守ってくれている周りの人たち、

本当にどうもありがとう。

 My sweet heart, l had so much fun with you on your first year!

I still remember the day ao clearly when you came out of my belly

being inside the amniotic sac and made nurses say '' we have a lucky girl here! ''

Yes you are blessed.

 

Thank you so much that you are born.

Thank you so much for being you.
